Considering a claim?

Before you file a claim, make sure you have contacted emergency services if you are in an unsafe situation.

Please use our claim inquiry form.

1. Ensure Safety:

   - Get to a safe location if possible

   - Turn on your hazard lights to warn other drivers.

   - If anyone is injured, call 911 immediately. Do not attempt to move injured persons unless they are in immediate danger.

2. Check for Injuries:

   - Check yourself and passengers for injuries.

   - Check on the occupants of the other vehicle(s).

3. Call the Police:

   - Even if the accident is minor, it’s a good idea to call the police. A police report can be invaluable for insurance purposes.

   - Provide the dispatcher with an accurate location of the accident.

4. Document the Scene:

   - Use your phone to take pictures of all vehicles involved, focusing on damages.

   - Photograph the surrounding area, skid marks, traffic signs, and any other relevant details.

   - Take pictures of any visible injuries.

5. Exchange Information:

   - Exchange names, addresses, phone numbers, insurance information, and driver's license numbers with the other driver(s).

   - Collect contact information of any witnesses.

6. Avoid Admitting Fault:

   - Do not admit fault or apologize. Stick to the facts when speaking to the other driver(s) and police.

   - Let the insurance companies determine who is at fault.

7. Seek Medical Attention:

   - Even if you feel fine, some injuries might not be immediately apparent. It's wise to see a doctor.

   - Keep records of all medical visits and treatments.

8. Notify Your Insurance Brokerage:

   - Report the accident to us as soon as possible so we can consult with you on the best path forward (to report directly to the carrier, see the phone number on your ID card or look at the links below).

   - Provide us with the accident report number, photos, time and date of the loss, and if possible, the other party's insurance information.

9. Keep a Record:

   - Keep a detailed record of all accident-related expenses and interactions, including repair costs, medical bills, and any communication with insurance companies.
